The Old Vicarage – Wilburton
We had the privilege of project managing and working on the renovation of the former Vicarage in Wilburton. This beautiful Victorian home had been sympathetically upgraded in keeping with its period (circa 1871), and modern amenities were upgraded.
What we did:
Removed kitchen walls to create a kitchen/breakfast room, with an Orangery added by Vale
Kitchen & Utility fitted
A rear porch and boot room were constructed
Upstairs was reconfigured to include ensuites and fully fitted out
A cellar previously under 4 feet of water was tanked and made useable
An unknown well was excavated to 9 metres deep, and pipes were laid under the driveway to service the greenhouse/gardens.
External Timber repairs to attic rooms
Stone mullions and quoins were restored, and new heritage windows were fitted throughout.
Re-wired, replumbed, and external drainage upgraded
Internal and external decorating
